I am a passionate and experienced yoga instructor based in Calgary, Canada, with expertise in Hatha and Ashtanga yoga styles. With a deep love for yoga and its transformative power, I have dedicated myself to helping others find balance, strength, and inner peace through their yoga practice.
My approach to yoga is rooted in mindfulness and alignment. I believe that yoga is not just about physical postures but also about the mind-body connection. I guide my students to explore their limits, both physically and mentally, while emphasizing the importance of proper alignment to prevent injury and promote holistic well-being.
I hold certifications from Alberta Yoga College and Sri Sri School of Yoga and I am a registered yoga teacher RYT-200h with Yoga Alliance and I am continuously expanding my knowledge and skills to provide my students with the best possible yoga experience.
My personal yoga journey has been a profound one, and I am committed to sharing the benefits of this ancient practice with others. Yoga, my Guru Mantra, has been the cornerstone of my well-being journey, unlocking hidden potentials and fostering strength and beauty from within. Inspired by my transformative experience, I’ve committed to sharing the power of well-being.
Dedicated to a journey of continual growth, I’ve always sought opportunities to apply my knowledge and skills. In the earlier years, I immersed myself in teaching Indian classical dance and contributing to cultural events.
Relocating to Alberta marked a new chapter, where maintaining a balanced lifestyle as a householder became a priority. In 2021, I completed my 200hrs teacher’s training at The Yoga Institute in Mumbai, India, delving into Classical Ashtanga Yoga, Pranayama, Bandhas, Mudras, and the practical application of the Bhagavad Gita in daily life.
Currently, I wear multiple hats as a Loan Administrator, Yoga Teacher, and Language Teacher, seamlessly blending diverse roles. Beyond my professional pursuits, I indulge in fun-loving hobbies such as dancing, writing, cooking, and traveling.
It’s my belief that everybody is gifted with a talent. If wisely used, can not only bring happiness in one’s life but can also bring joy to the surrounding world.
